Sorry to respond to someone elses remark but.... That actually doesn't bother me in the slightest. You all assume we play races and are worried about ladders and such. I don't give a fuck if you've hacked the game or are running bots. If you're having fun then more power to you. You see, some of us play this game like it's a game. Not a job. Not a measure of e-peen size. You got a BoR? Make sure they chisel that on your tombstone, cuz wow what a life-changing accomplishment.

GGG devs might want to take note as well: make the game fun, please. Not a chore. Don't push people into interacting with the filth that makes up a hefty portion of your userbase. I don't want to trade with these dirtbags.

This post really hit the mark. I couldnt have said it better myself.

This is a pve game

No, not really. PvP is gonna get looked into soon enough. GGG wants to hammer out PvE first.

I myself am not looking forward to it either. PvP and PvE never clashed well together and communities and devs fight each other over what should be tweaked, buffed, or nerfed in order for players not to steamroll each other in one hit. You folks watch, almost all of the builds in the game are going to be nullified in favor of PvP balance.

On topic:
While I do agree with some of the arguements that favor RMT, one also has to consider that this business isn't always as clean as you think. Most RMTers in almost any game that can be botted (WoW, Runescape, D2, PoE) tend to use stolen credit card info in order to make payments for what they do including upkeep for their RMT websites.

When you support an RMTer, you're letting them get away with screwing someone else's finances while they walk out overall wealthier than before.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley

PS - GGG doesn't give a shit if you hack either.

Ironically, your post itself shows the very same egoism that is the foundation of the "dirtbags" you hate to trade with.
This message was delivered by GGG defence force.
It's not "egoism" to not want to eat a shit pie, even if everyone else is doing it.

PS - I don't hate to trade with anyone. I simply don't trade at all. Never have. You didn't even consider that possibility tho, so you assumed it was ironic.

You shouldn't bother. OP was weak enough as it was.

OP, you might think that RMT doesn't effect you, but it does indirectly. Not only does it inflate prices & disrupt the economy, but also provides an unfair advantage when ladders are involved.

Do a little bit of reading on the forums here about this subject, lots of info without making new threads about it.

Very cool avatar.
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.
I support Release To Manufacturing too
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun
as a solo player i agree with OP stating that it does not affect me at all.

RMT only affects players who trade.

Since trading is awful in this game, i dont bother so i really dont care about RMT, but if i were to give my opinion, i am against it.
