Combat balance is based on what quality of gear GGG deem the majority of players are acquiring and GGG expect you to trade to acquire that gear... meaning balance isn't based off the piss poor gear self founders can achieve, but what gear trading can achieve. So again trading effects everyone.
Regardless if you trade or not, while you may not care about RMT,trading or the economy,it does effect solo self gambled players, because if it fucks with the economy then it fucks with us all.
Drop rates are based with trading in mind and they are atrocious. If RMT pushes devs to make them even worse, that is going to be big challenge for them.
I don't care about economy, even if it is going to have an impact on self-found in the future. Drops in self-found are lousy and gambling is a joke already.
For me it is the same if GGG makes playing the game (without trading) unrewarding of their own willing or they are forced by bots and RMT. Same goes for Blizzard or any other company.
Some people don't want to worry about economy at all, no matter how hard you try to convince them it is important in a GAME. You are going to have to accept that.

So you're just gonna jump ship when you've had your fill and not worry about it in your next choice of game ?

I am going to play the game if I can extract enough fun out of it. If I am posting on forum, that means I am on my way out. Same happened with D3, but I will try RoS (keeping my hopes low) and Elite: Dangerous (hopes are high).
It is a game. It is a loot hunt game. Loot is bad. I spent 80$ on PoE. It was more than worth it. That is the all real money I am concerned about. If the game sinks because of RMT, GGG will do something about it (BoA, Self-found league).
I hate trading here and I am looking forward not to trade in RoS, but can't wait to trade in Elite: Dangerous. Different genres.
So yeah. Jumping ship sounds good. Cobra MK3 ---> Fer-de-Lance.

I support RMT as well. Anything that will crash and burn your precious economy is a-ok in my book.
From my persepctive, anyone who doesn't play pure SFL is pay-2-win anyway. You're all a bunch of hypocrites for dumping on OP.

Nop. I dont care man. This game for me is a relaxing timewaster, I dont look further to drop something big and then sell it. I dont need lvl 70+ or 90 to be satysfied. I dont need BiS endgame items and have the best possible build for my character. I just want to waste my free time by playing this game because I like it.

Yeah ? tell me how. Everything i drop i vendor it and every orb i get i use it for my self. I dont trade. I alchemy everything past ilvl 60, i chaos everything until I'm not satysfied with the result. I play "single player".

Combat balance ? If my character is weak lategame i just reroll another one. GGG can expect me to trade, but I dont do that. My way or the highway, understand ?

And in what way ? You mean drops ? Then let me explain it to you once and for all because I didn't made myself clear. I dont care if i drop 1 rare item or 100 during hours of my gameplay or if I drop a unique or not. Every rare is a surprise for me and every unique christmas. Everyone have different needs.

Editing my stats to 99999 and hacking in all the best items "doesn't affect" you either - hope you don't mind.

I dont know you, I will never play with you and I will never trade with you. You can hack whatever you want I play my own game, so no.... it doesnt affects me. Do what you want.
At the time Diablo 1 items were duped hard, i didnt gave a **** aswell, I played my own game.
So to all of you.... stop acting like everything here is everybodys business. You just cant accept that there are different types of players and not everyone is like you.

Sorry to respond to someone elses remark but.... That actually doesn't bother me in the slightest. You all assume we play races and are worried about ladders and such. I don't give a fuck if you've hacked the game or are running bots. If you're having fun then more power to you. You see, some of us play this game like it's a game. Not a job. Not a measure of e-peen size. You got a BoR? Make sure they chisel that on your tombstone, cuz wow what a life-changing accomplishment.
GGG devs might want to take note as well: make the game fun, please. Not a chore. Don't push people into interacting with the filth that makes up a hefty portion of your userbase. I don't want to trade with these dirtbags.
PS - GGG doesn't give a shit if you hack either.
