I support RTM
" Because the moment the game allows RMT, then it will no longer be most efficient to actually play the game. People would instead have to choose between using real life money earnt through real life work or grinding inside the game. Given that option, evidently grinding in real life is far more efficient and then the game loses all meaning. At the very least now, doing Path of Trading is most efficient, but that's at least a part of the game. This message was delivered by GGG defence force. I play solo 99 % of the time. I group up only for boss kills when I'm rushing through the acts with new characters and only on Cruel and Merci.
So I dont see how someone who spent hundreds or thousands for better gear affects my game experience. In D3 I made over 300 euros in the RMAH back in the days when D3 was fresh and RMAH was implemented. I played the game, I finshed inferno 3 weeks after release ( SC ofc ) and I had stuff to sell other players didnt had at that time and they needed it to progress in game. For some people it was much easier to drop a few euros for gear than grind endless hours and hoping for some good drop and not guaranteed. Mostly adults with jobs and families who couldnt afford to play 8 - 10 hours a day. In other free to play RPG or MMORPG games you can buy directly on their official websites xp boosts, enchants and things like that which directly makes you stronger in the game and therefor you have a huge advantage over players who dont pay. And it's official. I say that everything nowadays is about money, you can see also the new single players games coming out with tons of DLC item packs boosts and such things. When Splinter Cell blacklist came out i insta bought a collectors edition for my PS3 and it was coming with a DLC item pack so I had the best items in game from the 1st mission. Sure, it wasnt a challenge and i turned them off but for players who bought only the regular edition these items were for download at a specific price. My point is, it's happening everywhere and real money is the future of virtual gaming aswell so stop rezist and accept the truth. Another example is the TCG Magic the gathering. I'm playing that game for 15 years and when I was a kid i couldnt afford cards like nowadays when i work and have the money for them. So players who dont have the money to buy "game stuff" in this case cards, cant participiate in tournaments and play pro and competetive. You wanna play ? You need gaming tools ! Gaming tools cost money. |

To those saying it doesn't affect you:
What happens when all that currency and items that the chineese farmed up gets re-sold into the economy? next time you want to buy a shitty item and the seller wants exalts you can thank RMT. Inflation is real and it affects you IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)

OP is probably trolling, however if u are not then listen up:
GGG made a game that some completely separate person is making money off of and not offering any of it back to them. Not only does GGG lose out but suddenly bots own the market and prices are sky high because of it. It ruins the entire games economy in some cases. Silly thing is GGG is ultimately influencing this behavior by making it almost impossible to find or craft items in the game itself so people take the easy way out and you get RTM. I dont know why this is the trend in these types of games these days. really dont get it | |
" Do you give a jack about game balance and your own personal loot bubble ? You do realize that everything from chests and breakables all the way to trash mobs, bosses and maps and vendors are balanced around the economy right ? This effects everyone Combat balance is based on what quality of gear GGG deem the majority of players are acquiring and GGG expect you to trade to acquire that gear... meaning balance isn't based off the piss poor gear self founders can achieve, but what gear trading can achieve. So again trading effects everyone. Regardless if you trade or not, while you may not care about RMT,trading or the economy,it does effect solo self gambled players, because if it fucks with the economy then it fucks with us all.
