I don't understand why someone would both play while extremely tired and play in a hardcore league. The fact that I play PoE mainly when exhausted from work is one of the reasons I'm not in hardcore. How do I know it's really, actually time to sleep? I nod off and die.

Hardcore is more like a job than a game. You can't show up tired.

Sometime when you want to play you just want to continue even you are extremely tired. I still remembered I used to play ffxi 20 hours straight, party with random player to lvl and then end up falling asleep for 5 min and make the whole team wipe cause I'm the healer (lost exp when you die). I wasn't even planning to sleep until I died lol... I played on nemesis as well sometime I still close my eye for a few sec when I'm tired and keep on playing.

I don't think nemesis or hardcore is boring btw, the 1 life chance is extremely exciting actually. Especially when you about to die but you survive at the end. My heart beat actually went up when this happen lol. This is the same when I'm playing hardcore on d2 and d3 but too bad d3 so disappointing.

Generally speaking, when someone plays 16h a day, sacrificing his real life, just to be on top of some virtual ladder, then it's high time to visit some doctor. Just saying.
