Would you support a 6L Orb that cost X fusings?

Honestly, a 6L is a luxury. You dont need it to do end game. Yea its awesome and you get an extra slot but you dont absolutely have to have it. If your build requires it to work then its just not a good build. Personally I'm okay with the RNG with linking. But I'd be okay with a little bump in % chances too.

Now what they really should do is make fusing have a shard system like alts, transmutes, and alchs do. Maybe something like if you find an item with its max sockets all linked you get a certain amount of fusing shards. So if you find a pair of white gloves that are 4 socketed and 4 linked you can vendor it for like a fusing shard (but a pair of gloves that are 3 socketed and 3 linked wouldnt count toward a shard because it not the max sockets that item can have). Then maybe the better the quality the more shards. So that same pair of gloves but blue would give you 2 and then a yellow would result in 3. So not only can you build up your fusing pool that way instead of finding them, trading, or exchanging for jewelers you can use items you find while killing monsters too. Seems like a win win to me. You know this way you arent so devastated when you lose 2k fusings. Just another way to reward yourself for killing monsters.

I honestly feel like anyone that thinks they need a 6L is using a shitty build and is asking for too much. That is my true opinion, no trolling involved.

Hell, I think if you feel you need a 5L you're fucking terrible. The game is clearly designed around 4Ls with you maybe getting a 5L. 6Ls are just one-in-a-million lucky chances.

They don't require skill to get, and you don't need them.

I got a pair of 5Ls and stopped playing (for a little while) because it was fucking boring.

I take issue with dumbshits that think 6L takes skill, or is a challenge. I take issue with people that think noobs that don't know any better don't dump their stash trying to link something, thinking they need it because some other dumbshit told them a 6L is mandatory, and get nothing. Then they ragequit, and people go on about how GGG is full of idiots because players are leaving in droves.
