PoE wins d3

Reaper of souls look like a much better game, but it's still too "casual" and not a true Diablo game or sequel to Diablo2, imo. Very little RPG elements in it and very little character customization, items are much improved but are still held back by Main stat + VIT requiring to be on every piece of gear, the 1 main stat = 1% DPS stat system is not fun for me and it severely lacks replay value when I can just be any spec I want within 5 minutes just by swapping skills, while also severely lacking depth and theorycraft.

Will probably buy, play for a month, then quit. POE is a much better game with more depth and replay value. Keep up the great work GGG, you are a FANTASTIC company and operate how old Blizzard did, this new Blizzard is all about maximizing profits and ends up making games for "Everyone" instead of games they want to play, which ends up making the games too casual and lack depth.
Downloading the game after a break. Reading forums while I do.

Kind've disheartening to see a community like this one. Think I'll just play by myself.
Lol...personal insult? You make that up too? Now you're trying to be on topic?

Also that last part, you seriously don't get it. Someone called another guy a d2 emotional fanboy. But you get upset if someone is called a poe fanboy? (Which, for the record, I never called him that. But you don't like to share the full story or read the whole thing so what's new?) Keep trolling though.

Sorry for the misunderstanding then SamBaLam, i'll turn up the sarcasm filter on my monitor next time.

@ TurkeyGravy; The community is great, please don't take random GD squabbles as a summary of the community as a whole. I'm not making it look any better atm but it is :)
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌

Anyone named MrRoundTree has to be optimistic. ^^
This thread title leads me to believe that D3 is a prize I can receive for winning PoE.

Must be a booby prize.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.
Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
I enjoyed d3 and I will enjoy the expansion. Will prolly sink a few weeks into it. After that I'll go back to poe. 40 bucks for a few weeks of fun isn't that expensive. People pay more than that to go out to eat one night...

People saying it's not 100% more content, maybe not 100% but it's a lot. New character, extra character slot, adventure mode and more. If you just want to look at 1 act plus 1 character as the expansion, that's your shortfall. Because if ROS is successful, I doubt any of you bashers will come to the forums and acknowledge it. Keep living in the past

Everything except the Act 5 and the Crusader class will be available without buying the Expansion. So the statement that it's 40$ for 1 Act and 1 Class seems pretty accurate.

You can't do rifts or adventure mode, which should have been in vanilla D3.
