Easily the game of the year for me, as there is no other game I've played close to as much as PoE this year. Well done GGG, although of course there are a lot of things you guys can improve!

It is also a victory of:
- Depth over flashy - Intelligent design over insulting simplicty - Adult mood over a kid focused mood - Money spent in content over money spent on marketing - David vs Goliath - Creativity over a desert of ideas - Open ends vs streamlined experiences - F2p with ethical transactions. When I supported this game in Closed Beta I did it because i felt it was extremely important for PC gaming that this game succeeds, for SO many more reasons than the ones i listed above. Just goes to show that a group of dedicated indie visionaries can still make a positive impact in a gamescape controlled by the likes of blizz/activision, congrats!!!
