GGG - I really hate trade in this game. Don't you know it brings out the worst of people?

At this point it really doesn't matter if there's a good way to put in an AH or not.

Given that Blizzard, Path of Exile's own 800 lb gorilla and the developer of the very game you referenced in your post, has announced it is abolishing all formal Auction Houses in its game in Q1 of next year, it would be business suicide for GGG to implement one.

It would actually make more sense for GGG to implement an AH because it actually has a decent itemization system. D3's AH sucked because D3's itemization and character progression sucked (outside of redefining what aRPG's are, read further one)

But more to the point, Blizzard realized the core point which GGG is in self denial about, is that aRPG's are HnS with no economies, thats how they are designed. You designed and implementing your aRPG around an economy, and then it turns into this weird shitty MMORPG hybrid which brings out the worst of both worlds.

Blizzard learned this the hard way, the majority of aRPG players want to spend time killing monsters and progressively finding better loot which they themselves equip, they don't want to spend their time trading or in an AH

Guess what PoE is like currently? You get to end game, and guess what, you spend your time trading and farming currency to buy items. I havn't actually found a single item I could wear in the past 15 levels. Thats the exact same problem D3 has

Difference is, Blizzard has admitted its a problem and that it exists and they did something about it. I have year to hear anything from GGG about this issue, and all of Chris's latest post seems to be that he is delusional and living in a bubble

How about a up/downvote system to each account? That would hold players accountable for their actions and words.
