Sticking with PoE or just waiting for Diablo 3?
Sticking with it. It's the passive forest that keeps me hoping for an account. Just looking at it makes me all happy.

I've heard some pretty bad things about D3 such as no synergies and automatic point distribution (which doesn't feel like D2). Sure the graphics are cool, I might find a way to try it out.
The Real Money Auction House is something I can ignore even if botters and "gold farmers" drive down the prices. I'm also going to guess that Diablo 3 is going to cost a lot, like Starcraft 2. EDIT: Hold on...Real Money Auction House? There's people on D2JSP. I wonder how that's going to be affected. Last edited by hydris#5392 on Sep 15, 2011, 11:22:47 PM

" Blizzard's essentially 'streamlined' the gameplay, making various alterations, additions, and such so that you just start going out and begin the demon onslaught: 1. Stats are automatically implemented, and there are now just 3 stats to work charms with. 2. Early on you obtain items called the Cauldron of Jordan, the Recall Stone, and the Nephillim Cube. They essentially quicken downtime with item hoarding and collection: the Cauldron is used to 'sell' any item you wish, turning it into pure Gold currency. The Nephillim Cube can break down items into craftable materials. The Recall Stone acts as a perma-use Town Portal with a 10 second channelling. These items are meant to keep you going through with minimal item management, and easier access back to towns. 3. There are no longer Skill Points. Skill slots and skills/passives themselves are obtained through leveling up, so respecs are completely removed out of the equation. You'll be able to switch out skills/passives at any time, along with their Runestones so that you can adapt to situations. ---- These are just some observations as I've gathered information... Now, I will partake in Diablo 3 (and attempt to get a monetary return on the game through the RM Auction House ;3 ), but I won't neglect other hack'n'slasher RPG's; Path of Exile and Torchlight 2 will still get tons of love! |

" Sounds like they made a completely different game. I think the whole auto-stats and no skill points in a sense drives me away from the game. (Maybe I'll wait for a mod of it to finish even) |

Path of Exile looks more like a Diablo game than Diablo 3 does. This game is in the same dark tone of the first two Diablo games.
I've been following this game for quite a while and I can say that this game will be popular, because this game is not pay to win.. You can buy with real money only cool skins which wont help you in pvp or pve.. Can't wait to get beta key. | |
Im sticking with the one which I like more

I will probably not even bother with diablo 3 after what they've done to that game
Above content may contain traces of nonsense.
Reality is simply an unrealistic version of online gaming. |
