Why won't GGG allow modding?
This sounds like a wannabe game dev post.

All I would want to change in game UI is have more customizable controls (optiin to set "use left mouse button skill only when Shift is down" for example).
Re-skinning game models would render microtransactions pointless. But I haven't made a single templar just because I don't want to have a char running around in a diaper :D I would rather suggest making character class skin mictrotransactions. |

" Why do you say that? Diablo 2 is still kicking out good mods even people writing code for there mods. If they wanted to be a dev couldn't they make a game instead of modding? They even have realms for diablo 2 mods. |

" Its kind of hard to mod a game without game files, which GGG would never allow anyone access. |

" UI customization would be a huge benefit to the game, something for which I would gladly pay a microtransaction fee. One of the main reasons I don't play Hardcore is the hazardous pitfalls in the HUD. I'm not willing to risk my investment in a character on a single errant mouse move or click obscuring the battlefield with a distracting user interface obstruction. When my character is outside of town, I'd want to disable all of the following HUD features: * Skill-slot tooltip dialogs * Skill-slot pop-up menu * Microtransaction $ menu * Quest update info button * All gem level updates * Passive skill points button * Flask tooltip dialogs * Flask mouse click activation * Entire bank of eight option buttons * All four chat box buttons * Hot-key toggle of chat box * All text spam other than party chat Last edited by RogueMage#7621 on Dec 8, 2013, 4:23:17 PM
