Poll: Monster life number display
Should numbers be shown on the monster life bars?

I think toggle, because otherwise it can break immersion. It's a very useful tool if you just want to work out things like damage. I'd also like an ability to turn enemy damage bars off. That would make the game more interesting in some respects I think.

actually I'd like to see something similar do Diablo 1's UI, with enemy stats/life/resistances in a not so small box, centered at the bottom of the screen

Having numbers displayed is really a persons preference. To me looking at bar is good enough. I do not have to put too much thought into it.

I say no. It makes it even slightly harder that you don't know what damage you exactly deal to an enemy.

I voted make it an optional but if it's difficult or time consuming then there isn't really a need.
I'm not really sure if people would pay much attention to it and in mobs certainly i don't think it would be of much use personally. The only time i could really see it being of use is against bosses. I think it would ruin the errr 'feng shui' of the interface Health bar is enough for me, but i suppose if some people want it then it might be worth putting in as an optional if it isn't too much work or time consuming |

Making it optional saves you the problems with having to deal with third party programs and the potential security risks and harmfull effects they can have.
There are manny games that add quest lists coördinates extra skill bars (not nessesary in this game but still) so that there is no need for 3rd party programs. Also it makes the game look well polished |

Just a quick suggestion. Im really sorry if someone has posted this already, im not too keen on reading the 18 pages of replies.. sorry.
Maybe the health bar could be broken up into segments that represent a certain amount of health. So for instance when you are just starting out you will be killing two or three bar monsters and say for a boss, there will be too many segments to count. But you will know that for certain monster types u can averagely do x amounts of segments in damage. |

Togge on off would be nice on a hotkey, makes it easier when facing heavy monsters, but no need when smashing minions....
