I don´t think so...

Granted, NO ONE should give a fuck about the review scores by magazines, but the personal
opinion of the readers on some titles are quite interesting regarding f.e. technical issues or such.
Personally I'm more fond of Giant Bomb or Rock Paper Shotgun

Hm, I am not sure if I am happy that the author will be 'playing for review' come 23rd.

I can definitely understand this. One of the biggest problems with the explosion of smaller games and indie projects is that people are either mistakenly (or sometimes purposefully) led to believe they're buying and playing a finished product without sufficient idea of what an Alpha or Beta test is actually for.

That being said, PoE has the advantage of being free and I feel like GGG has gone out of their way to stress this is a beta and a work in progress. (not to mention their support and faith in a game that feels more compelling and complete than some AAA games as of late *cough cough*)

I have high hopes for the reception this will get come the 23rd, PoE DEFINITELY deserves it
I must not fear, fear is the mind killer...

No i am worried also about it.Ign takes games and evaluate them way before release, yet,he still will review the game on open beta, which will be lag and connection issues due to server capacity. Then they will write aa bad report which is...bad.They methodicaly doing this,to justify their 9.5 on a game of this genre that doesnt deserves it called d3.
Bye bye desync!
