Yea, I thought D3 looked very polished as well tbh.

They just seem like different styles to me. Don't see why so many people need to pick one over the other. You can certainly play both considering this game is free and D3 only has an entrance fee.

Agreed this game looks like it has so much more depth in the game than D3... Granted I will still probably be purchasing D3 just because I am so tired of all other games (Wish I could get into the beta for Poe).. but definitely think this game is going places!! Keep up the good work!

Well If im honest, I came to this game as a time-killer before Diablo 3, but after I did some research and really checked this game out, I think I will most certainly keep playing it even after D3 has been released. This game just feels more wholesome for the moment =]

Both PoE and Diablo 3 may be in the same genre, but they will both succeed regardless of the other. I plan to play both regularly, and expect a large portion of the fans of the genre will not just stick to one or the other if they know of both.

I'll probably be playing both, which is why i think PoE wins with it's free model. I'm pretty sure I would have only bought D3 if both were sold. I haven't tried PoE yet, but it does indeed look like an interesting game.

D3 is waaaay more polished in it's current state compared to Poe, plus aren't the end acts in Poe still being worked on?

D3's content crushes Poe's thus far. From what I've seen Poe is still a stand-up game, but they need more content period.

For a free game poe is pretty cool, I really like the skill tree and customization.

D3 has a way cooler story line and more polished skills, plus it has the witch doctor man, you can't touch that. =)

I'm sure given enough time GGG will have the content to compete, and I give them props for the small team of people working on this game. In comparison Blizzard has way more funds and has had 5x the developers throughout creation.

I will play both, but my experience thus far with GGG has been exactly what I expected from a small indie company.

I'll end up trying them all too with a bit of luck. Hoping for a PoE or D3 beta key at least so I'll have something to do in my spare time. I doubt I'll be that fortunate though, lol.

But regarding D3, just remember even though it has the AH you don't have to play with those who've clearly bought their gear from it. Even then it doesn't change the fact that a player who uses it could still be a decent person, so I don't really see the fuss. It's not like anybody cares about the effort you put into a character on an MMO like WoW. The effort you put into gearing up your character is something only you can give yourself a pat on the back for.

That's my opinion anyway, maybe you're different and you go about envying everyone in better gear than you. :P
