Show Itemlevel on items!

Excuse that it would be confusing for new players is ridiculous. If the players are gonna play the game they should know there is item level before they start crafting. Better if they find out in the beginning. They will see item level stat and start wondering what does it mean. They can ask on chat or google it. Better find out this way than spend loads of currency not knowing you cant get the desired results because of hidden stat.

In the beginnig I wasted a lot of jewellers not knowing I cant get the number of slots I wanted because I didnt know about itemlevel. Found out about it by accident on the forum.

Be happy you can check the itemlevel at all

As i recall in d2 you needed a 3rd party program (which were bannable)

This. And how hard is it to type "/itemlevel"?
If you want to know an item level, you can find out.
If you don't want to know, you don't have to see it on all of your items.

I could see an option to display item levels being available in the UI menu.
That could be convenient.

Also, to me, "not confusing new players" is a very valid reason not to display item levels on everything. Most players do not need to know what the item levels of all of their stuff are from the beginning. Most players probably wouldn't know what the item level meant or was used for until they spent more time in Wraeclast. Most players only need to know item levels at specific times, like when deciding which item(s) to keep or which item to throw a Chance/Alchemy Orb on. So, why display item level all the time? It is really a 'need to know' attribute. Not a primary attribute.

Id like to see this added, not so much that typing /itemlevel is hard. But I purchased a pair of

Item level 24.

This means that they can never have 4 sockets which requires item level 28. If I had known this at the time, I wouldn't have purchased them. This is one of many end game usable uniques that can be below the item level required for maximum sockets...

This does seem like kind of a problem..
Can item levels be read in the trade screen, particularly from the other party's items?
People should be able to see the item levels of items they are trading for, imo.
TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.

Their excuse for not putting it on there is "to not confuse people".

that. someone at ggg should went into politicians
I'm a savage, I'm a king
I fought deceivers
I conquered evil
The confusing part, for me, it's this one:

What will happen if i alch those 3 amulet?

Well....
The answer is:
The first will become rare, and will have shitty mod.
The second one may have good mod, but won't be usable until level 20.
The third one will be level 60+ if I get great mod.

How do I see the difference? Take one, type /itemlevel (or run a macro), put it back.
OR, buying 70 stash tab an put the item with related itemlevel for each tab!

Confusion... Required level vs Item level ... And what about "Gem level" Whoa! What is gem level, i'm so confused! LOL!

Let us press "alt" while we over items, like in chat or trade, and everything will be perfect!
just put it as a toggle in the option with default turned off for the nubs.

I need to see itemlevel. Its pain in the behind to type /itemlevel everytime.

You can hold ALT to see itemlevel in trade so why not make that also for own stash and inventory or make it a toggle.

I really dont get why so many asked this option and you dont provide such a simple thing. Call it max Craftlvl otherwise for the dumb people who play PoE
