Show Itemlevel on items!

Itemlevels should be shown on items! There's no reason not to!

Their excuse for not putting it on there is "to not confuse people".

It's just simple...

There is Level requirement and Item Level

I mean... THE WHOLE system in path of exile operates with Item Level... crafting, the power of your modifiers, getting links etc.!

I heard of a guy who got cheated in tradechat - he was told that the item he was buying was itemlevel 80, when it in fact was only 78...

To alleviate confusion they could rename itemlevel to innate potential or some other nonsense. Item level is important to know though, and it should be at least an option to prominently display it.

Item Level: 73

It should be as easy as that....How confused can a person become by that?

I think a player is much more likely to become confused by the passive tree, but we don't have to type /passivetree everytime we want to look at that...

Why have itemlevel?

Why not just make it so the character crafting sets the mod limits?

Because, then you could go into A1 Normal Ledge and just farm items and craft them on your level 80 and get level 80 worth of mods/sockets? No.
