Giving away my Eternal Design-a-Unique - Vote Thread - Poll is up

Which unique should win?

Rogue exile sounded cool (reminiscent of treasure goblins) but 1/1000 chance of losing something that may have taken forever to craft or tons of prayer and sacrifice to RNGzus just sounds dumb to me (I don't even play a melee).

I doubt they would iterate the sword as is, so I'll vote for that and hopefully they balance it a little.

the sword is way too OP would never go through... in fact the quiver is the only reasonable option ... i would vote for the quiver since the other ones are just really really bad, but not really a fan of the quiver neither..

Defiantly quiver the best uniques are uniques that are build defining. The quiver does that. But instead of zombies and skeletons what about using other monsters?

undead Rhoas or exploding snakes/walkers come to mind

The quiver aint bad but could probably be a little bit more fleshed out than its current form.

Yeah the other two are simply no competitors compared to the quiver, because they are too nonsensical. Sword far too OP and not unique, exile is also ridiculously overpowered. I love how you have to re-equip a weapon, but he will time out and the idea is to not use portals due to the timer. That suggestion is so filled of hate to certain play styles. The hatred filled format that suggestion had makes it kind of suck to see it back in the voting options. Let alone that it uses Kaom, which is a lore character GGG probably want to keep to themselves.

Yet even the quiver is insanely OP just for the reason PoE doesn't know simultaneous casting. Now you cast minions with your main attack... even cwdt and cast on crit have their downsides. Only see it happen if incredibly toned down or when skills and the casting systems sees the overdue overhaul, which means at least 1 year minimal. Out of the 3 options though this is the only one that could make it to the design phase I feel. (might also perhaps be partially balanced if the minions remain unlinked/ unsupported by gem options).

Sorry for the original poster I love what you are doing and wish you success, but I just had to say that the options don't seem close to something that can be realized.

Now that I think about it, how would you add support gems to the zombies and skeletons if their a part of the quiver? Maybe I'm just missing something here....

Seriously how did that sword even make it this far.... :(

I think the quiver is lame but the other two are even worse.

So i vote for a freaking re-vote of uniques that could be done! I could think of a more interesting Unique right now with 10-15 minutes!
The exiles drawback are to heavy, like somebody else mentioned even a 1/1000000% to lose a weapon that might have taken 100 exalts worth is not a "fair deal", other then that i do like the concept behind him, and it would be a really good thrill to fight him in a hc setting.

The one handed weapon should have 80% fire resist cap before wielding (does not deactivate on
-resist maps) resulting in a very build oriented weapon, that is powerful but due to the passives invested and links to get 80% fire resist somewhat balanced. The fact that you cant dual wield it is also appropriate considering its power.

Then last but not least the quiver. A very cool item, but like mentioned how do you link supports to the minions summoned? Could the quiver have 3 linked sockets in it that only apply to the summons? Also would skill tree passives work since your not summoning them yourself, but the quiver is.

All in all i enjoy all 3 selected unique's, but i think the quiver is the best balanced of all 3. But with a bit of work all 3 would make fine unique's.

Great support epsilon, and a mighty fine gesture for allowing the community to participate in your creation.
GGg on sir.
