Vitality Aura

should at least gives 2% at level 20...
even with heavy investments it is just meh.
If you do the math for RF, its a big help with all those increased aura effect nodes, that's why GGG didn't want to increase the reg value, and instead of that they decreased it from 60 to 40%.

With some aura effect nodes...it gets to 2% pretty easily...

...that over 100 Life every second end game...that with armor makes small white mobs do no damage at all.

Yeah, it's not like you have to make a dedicated aura build with ~50 points around the int side of the tree to bring Vitality, oh and let me remind you, it's 1.65 at Level 20, up to 1.65*~1.88 = ~3.1.

Summoners only use it because summons have huge life pools and Vitality is one of the only ways they can heal their summons at all.

While you're running your 3.1% max life Vitality, every other non-buffed aura in the game is still better.

I'm running it with a level 29 witch and it seems to keep both my minions and myself topped off. The only time I need to pop a rejuvenation totem-an even better way to heal your minions, not to mention potions-for certain rare and unique fights.

At higher levels Vitality is simply broken.

It's garbage for summoners, except in boss fights where you don't want zombies to die. For some reason, everyone is obsessed with keeping zombies alive, despite the existance of a talent that makes them blow up for 1/3rd of their massive hp pools. Resummoning new zombies isn't a big deal the vast majority of the time.

Run DPS gems on zombies, let them die and replace them as required, and watch your damage increase through the roof.

Disagree with that.
1) zombie hp pool is roughly 5k, I don't give a shit about 1/3 dmg in fire so I don't use this node. ( yeah 17k hp zombie was just tooltip display bug )

2) zombie summoning is using snapshot trick, so letting them die is just waste of time because summoning them can be long if you do it properly ( exploiting snapshot )

just try to run a BR/lowlife or RF build without it, then you see how "garbage" vitality is.

The reason you want to keep you zombies, animated gaurdian alive is if they die you in deep shit as a summoner build. You skeletons simply not gonna cut it. I almost died several times becuase my shield wall of zombies died
