What OP did was an act of desperation. The same desperation that has prompted countless other players to post similar threads or just simply quit. This game has a serious risk/reward problem, perfectly illustrated by the OP's experience. If you play this game for loot (gosh, who plays arpg's for loot, right??) you're in for some serious disappointment. Not everyone has hundreds of hours to put into a game, but everyone should be able to feel like they are getting some degree of enjoyment from the game, not just us no-lifers that play 8+ hours a day.

OP Can you name ANY GRIND-BASED VIDEO GAMES
a) become endless tedium at a certain point? b) come to an absolute end at a certain point (eg you kill last boss and there is nothing to the game) Either you have played no more than 5 rpgs in your entire life or you are an idiot and think that PoE has some sort of infinite budget where they can keep throwing new content at you without repeating it for months on end (no game company in the world has that sort of budget) |
