Minions/Spectres Being STUPID
My spectres paint the screen as do my skeles. My zombies taunt and die sometimes and I resummon them. I wreck stuff and using a level 1 spell attached to a curse I direct them. Skeles are even easier. I summon them on the target and they kill it. Zombies are slow and dumb but they do taunt with the right jewels and are valuable too.
I don't understand why you are having the issues you are. |

Noone noticed this thread is necrod? There's a 5 year jump on page 2...
I feel like the AI is fine. Yes zombies / spectres need to be "aimed" by the player, but that's a little skill element that summoner needs. Also, it provides an opportunity for minions to attack what you curse (since a curse or curse on hit spell "aims" them towards those mobs). If you want super easy zero aim build, play SRS. |

I really like playing summoner BUT one thing that annoys me quite alot is the poor pathing that minions seem to have. They lag behind, struggle with following you around a small corner etc where my little Weta pet strolls perfectly next to me everywhere.
I'd really like to see an update for minion pathing, atleast something like halfway between how it is now and how pets follow you with ease. |

The problem with zombies/spectres is when you move your character they go from aggresive to defensive and move with you.
Now imagine dominus is shooting lightning projectiles at you and you have to move, well now all your zombies/spectres stop dpsing and move with you until you give an attack command again. That's the real problem. Maybe spell totem + arc is a bandaid fix? A simple "fix" would be the minions do not stop attacking unless convocation is used, or a if a movement/click move ability was used and no attack command via arc or whatever was given 4 seconds after. This would at least allow you 4 seconds of grace while dodging shit for your minions to not spaz out and keep the dps on whatever you want them to. |
