A Low Life Indicator
It would be pretty handy to have some indication of when you're on low life. I know, you're screen gets darker as you lose life, but there should be a clear indicator that alerts you when you pass the threshold, something like life orb glowing red, flashing, whatever, something.
Why do I want this? For example, how am I supposed to use Panicked flasks if I don't even know when I'm in low life? A slightly darker screen simply isn't enough when you're desperately fighting for your life in the middle of a million monsters. Plus, it's just logical for us automatically KNOW when we're on the verge of death. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

I've had the same thoughts of this. Maybe a flashing indicator on the screen when you reach the threshold... a sound... or perhaps just put a limiter on the orb so we know where the low life threshold stands... That would be handy for sure.

Just like in FPS games, screen flashes red with on very low health.

Well i know that a flashing health orb wouldn't save me as i barely notice it during a fight.
Maybe make the current indication more pronounced other than that it's just down to playing enough to learn what causes you problems...like Roahs or spitting snakes Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" Basically I'm say that that's not noticeable enough " I thought since you constantly glance a the life orb, you will easily notice when it's glowing. |

I'm missing this as well.
I'm constantly checking my health globe, especially when dealing with a lot of mobs or bosses. I haven't started hardcore yet, but I'll do that after the open beta, where this feature will definately help! I wouldn't want to compare it with other games, but I kind of like the way D3 has it. Anything that let's me know I'm below 20% gradualy, it's fine with me! Nice stuff, please check out my SHOPS!

I thought the game already had this? Your vision shortens and the screen takes on a red tint when you're classed on "low life".
I know it works pretty well for me, the effects is pretty jarring, many times I've surprised myself with my hpot mashing reflexes. |

There's the effect of the light in the game dimming as life gets low, But that being noticeable depends on a couple of things.
Playing a dual-wielding swordsman of some kind.
In game name is Kaosu and/or ChaosBlade. |
