I think calling a a hit to thier ego would be more accurate than calling ot selfish. Knowing they paid 250 bucks for thier cool forum tile and kiwi but knowing someone paid less for thiers makes thier social status here mean nothimg. its purely driven by ego. They like the fact they are set apart from lower level supporters. Having a sale would render that useless. They don't hide It very well either.

Yea posibly - this is more accurate than "selfish". I dunno. I dont care either way, but as i said , im sure a mild shit storm would stir.

I cant speak for everyone , but for me, the time i have put in, and the fun i have had, and the future fun i see having, is compareable to D2. That game lasted me over a decade of pure pure fun. Reason being, not one game since had that "awsome-sauce" to it, IMO.

GGG seems to have created a lil awsome-sauce here, and i want to be around playing it, gettin new content, for as lons as possible. This earned my respect, and some of my dollars. If i could offer more support, i would, but alas, im a mere man.

Just curious. Since I am a fairly hefty supporter, am I included in this they? And if not, would this they therefore be of lower social standing than I simply because they supported at a different level?

And by this same logic, Reaper should basically be the king of this hill.

The only hierarchy I have seen is between skill levels. We have some massive gaps there.

PS I think the first person to naysay discounts on support packages to make a quick buck would be Chris. GGG are all about fairness,.and there is nothing really fair in such a scenario. These packs do have an air of exclusivity to them, given that they are limited time deals and designed pretty much for the fan who wants to go that step further. Making that further step not as far to make sales can definitely seem unfair to existing supporters.
