Please Add an Ignore Button to the Forums.

As being the guy who made the "ethics post" which, apparently, people took as me trolling... but I wasn't.... (I made my original post, two comments, and then asked to have it locked).

I'd like to have an ignore button. I'd ignore Rusty in a second.

Such features won't really be necessary for quite a while...

The most fighting comes about after content has been run by people to the point of exhaustion... at that point communities tend to implode from bored players.

I'd say ya'll have a year or so before the forums get nasty enough to warrant these types of features.

That is a personal unethical attack. That is extremely inappropriate. That sort of behavior should not be aloud on the forums.

I recall you crying at ggg over this exact same thing infact.

I don't recall crying to GGG over someone wanting to ignore you.

they need to add a ignore button for forums bad. Gaming forums have always been notorious breeding grounds for trolls and harassing other players.

A simple IGNORE feature solves many problems and frees moderators up to do more important things. A simple way to let the community police itself.


And some people will not let things go, and will keep harassing people for opinions, ideas, lack of gear, and whatever other immature thing they deem fit

I'm in favour of an ignore functionality on the forums.

I will probably be a member of this community for a very long time and so long as trolls are conforming to forum rules it is wrong to ban them / lock threads.
I would rather determine myself if I never want to see a post made by a certain individual again.

Buttons to downgrade posts or to automatically hide posts if x amount of forum users have clicked a report button is a bad thing, because this will be exploited by trolls and other people.

Also to stop spam make sure that it is impossible to create multiple threads within a short span of time.
