Chain mixes it up a bit, smooths the curve a bit, and is interesting; however, many people are overreacting, simply because chain+LA is effective, it isn't suprising or OP once you get decent gear. I just recently swapped from playing a chaining Ele Hit wand build to a Split Arrow Chain bow build (both ele dmg) and this post is so true. I've played a Lightning Arrow Chain build before as well, and the only thing propping it up is that Shock is extremely strong right now (needs a bit of a nerf, along with a buff to burning [burn stacks?], IMO). Split Arrow gets more DPS out on more targets with less screen clutter and less support gems (no LMP needed). Also, running maps with Feels is hilarious. Everything shatters before it gets onscreen.
