I have never, ever even noticed what was around the health/mana orbs.
I would assume its because I look AT the orbs, not around them when I need to know how much is in them. Why do you not complain about the Men's bodies that are tied up and tortured all throughout the game? Why does that GamerGirl subreddit not mention them? They say its a Sexism issue. But it is not at all. It is a (Uber)Feminism issue, and not a legitimate one at that. Since Feminism is aimed at equality, not at Female Supremacy. That has its own title. You might argue that it would be a Man's job to protest the depiction of Men. But then that is Sexism, it implies that only the gender in question may defend its status. This whole "Sexism" thing is bullshit. It's a video game that depicts Humans being tortured, murdered and mutilated. If you chose to make your primary complaint that 2 women are being depicted in submissive poses. Then the game isnt for you. And even a change in UI would only lead to the offended party finding the next thing to complain about: The Female Statues are Naked There are dead Females on the Beach There are Females in Torture devices There are Mutilated Female "Monsters" I had a read of that subreddit, the next highest rated complaint is that Zelda is in a frilly dress and kept in a prison, to be rescued by Link. OUTRAGEOUS. That's been the story of every Zelda game, why would you get a Zelda Game, then complain about it being a Zelda game? And what would the solution be? Have Link imprisoned and Zelda saves him, well by that token, it is Sexist to Men. So the solution is simple. No more Zelda Games. Another complaint made about PoE is that the Genders are Locked. And its not just a complaint, people are DISGUSTED by it. WELL LOOK OUT! Every game ever had better make a gender option or people will simply walk away and NEVER deal with that company. But they don't complain that in Tomb Raider you are FORCED to be a Girl. By their logic, its Sexist, why are we forced into portraying a woman in a video game! But I am just a big Misogynistic asshole, after all I did buy my Daughter a Pram with a Doll to put into it. Worse than that, its all Pinks and Purples! MWUARHAHAHA! Take that SISTERHOOD! You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world,

Maybe this is "over-sexualised" for certain cultures, but if you walked out into the streets of New Zealand you would see a lot more 'sexual' images in broad daylight of women walking in the street, though I wont mention any actual places in this post like Devonport.
Not playing a game just because of something like this is kind of silly, unless you are going to go as far as to say "I am not going to go to New Zealand on a holiday ever because the women dress in provocative clothing". You should respect other peoples cultures other than your own, flipping out over an issue like this just shows you have a lack of respect for peoples cultures that arent your own. |

Also, seriously, there are naked male statues all over the game as well. How exactly is having some female ones being sexist? I was also under the impression they were drawing a lot of stuff from Greek aesthetics. So, just, this is so minor. Everyone today, Jesus Christ, get the fuck over it.
