Up to 100% of retaliation damage added to Shield Charge, based on distance.
Maximum distance Shield Charge causes bleeding.

25-50 Physical Damage Returned to Attacker.
+4% Block Chance.

Damage Return prefixes would be helpful, especially if they add higher tiers. Tempest Shield might synergize well, adding lightning damage to the charge.

I imagine a critical Dagger + Shield build utilizing Shield Charge, Tempest Shield, and Temporal Chains and/or Vulnerability. Charges crit for massive damage, resulting in huge bleeding damage which is then amplified by the shock caused by Tempest Shield's lightning damage and the curse effects. Mmmm. Might even be overpowered against single targets, but would be weak against fast enemies and wouldn't be good for general leveling without melee splash. And it might be hard getting sufficient strength on a shadow. Scion would be nice though.

Edit: And poison if Adder's Touch is taken? o_o

The only other legitimate option for a nod would be a shako.

Just as a base. And yes, this is homage to the Dark Ranger from WC3. The idea is to have a bow that enables a Summoner Archer type.

3% chance to apply righteous fire upon target hit. (does not work on bosses/players)
-100% fire resist
