This isn't an mmorpg.

Diablo 3 pretty much is though. Its more of a mmo arcade game now.

August?! Guess I can stop checking in a few times a week for the start of the beta here for a while then. See you guys after the summer!

It is a little disheartening to hear that the beta is now scheduled for later in 2011. For those saying that it is free and they have nothing to worry about...well, a lot of arpgs are coming out this year and as you can tell from the forums money isn't a big deal to most players. Heck, most people are ready to step up and support PoE!

I just hope they can sustain themselves during the slow trickle of incoming players. And if people have already gone out and bought Torchlight 2, D3, or any of the others then that trickle might be even slower.

When I read about PoE on diii.net last year it sounded to me like the game would be out by April/May time. They had a demo already, beta to start early 2011, etc.

Oh well, good things come to those who wait.
