I'm so Glad that I declined...

I am also a solo player and it will be hard. The increased cost of auras will make parties for some things nearly mandatory. Depending on how much the difficulty scales when you're in a party of course. In what other ways will this patch makes it more difficult though?

" IIR was the single worst mechanic in the game, im glad GGG has realized it was just bad removing IIR is a good fucking change, get your head out of your ass | |
" IIR, bad itemization, bad mob strength difficulty scaling, etc etc. For now, My only concern is the IIR. |

" Let me clear it up for you: "Balance Changes - Items: 40% of the item quantity bonus for additional party members is now shifted towards item rarity. Gems and currency items still receive the old item quantity bonus." That's my problem. They didn't removed it... They forced you to group play with this IIR. or you can just try your luck with zero IIR solo and hope something beside trash drops so you can trade. Yeah, but we're talking about if you choose to, not if nobody will play with you.

" Do you understand how big an improvement this is? Maybe you should play the game first, if you do not understand the mechanics ;/ Return to this flameless sunder

You say that negative feedback can also be helpful, and you're right (for a certain definition of negative), but I don't think this thread is at that point yet.
What about the patch do you think is bad? To me the aura changes seem to be the biggest buff to party play, but you mention IIR. As far as I understand it, parties will not be any better off than before, in fact they'll be worse off if you were looking for particular base items (and not necessarily rares). Could you elaborate? " I understand, yes. Group: Better loot. Solo: No better loot. How is that improving solo play? |

" Spot on. |
