I actually think you are right and that solo players are still far worse off than group - though not necessarily worse off than they were. I absolutely hate how much GGG wants you to group, and how much they want you to trade.

But the game is so damn fun im going to simply play so much that I manage to over come the disadvantages. Screw this being forced to play in groups to compete idea.

Its not quite as bad as you make it out to be though.(This is just my view on the solo player aspects of this patch, not the rest of it)

Solo player here and I am very much looking forward to the changes. I believe GGG know what they are doing and I don't believe there is going to be as much of an inconsistency between group and solo play like it is currently.

there needs to be change, and stacking auras like it was before meant that auras were nothing to value like they will be now.

You are right. I may have jumped off the cliff too soon.

Sorry if i sound harsh (it's just the lack of english knowledge). There is a saying in my country:

"If something looks like shit, smells like shit, chances are... it is shit".

There were many, many patches in the course of development of the game that made a huge uproar.

And it usually turned out shit as ppl predicted.

You didnt have the chances to "smell" the new patch. Wait and see. It is also astonishing how divine supporters behave this way, making threads that would surely incite flaming.

I say if you want to cancel your pack upgrade do so quietly. I did so because i didnt have the money.

I still think negative feedback is also productive (is it the correct word?)

If ppl would not complain, it would seem everything is fine.

Smell = patch notes.

Looks = ingame.

I get to smell it... yet to see it. But if it's smell is terrible, it's taste will be terrible too.

im mostly playing solo and im very excited about this patch

Solo is not more screwed than was before, in fact it's less. Solo never was competitive against grouping in anyway if the group was semi-decent.

You just are scared of having to deal with change and adapt your characters. All this QQ and anxiety will be gone after some trial, it's always the same in every online game with constant stream of patches. Your characters will be perfectly fine.


P.S: The only thing screwed with this patch is the legacy item situation.

I didn't mention auras, did I?

I'm mostly flipped out about the IIR. I always knew auras will get hammered, so I always only planned my builds to use 1 or 2.
