I don't understand why people say solo play is dead... it absolutely is not.

Im one for criticism, but these guys...
they always bring up stupid facts, talk about their life, how much they spent and what they do when they play POE.
Guess what, nobody cares about you, you are no making any good argument.

couldn't resist, to post actually I've quit the game, not more then 4 days ago.

:3 now don't get me wrong, I've had 6 chars all around 75 to mid 85, I've spend 100+ exas, making different types of chars, not mainstream types, each time it got nerfed, because someone else had made a canon insane char.

now in this patch my 40 exa char, 2 levels from 80, couldn't even solo in the later act 3 merci maps.

now this is the reason why i quit.

don't wonna start a new char, and level up again with no funds, and the items, basically worthless.

its rant of cause, i don't care, but least I'm honest, when this patch came out, i kinda had the idea, i could work around all the nerfs, auras, def, dmg ! and what not, but no, my build/items i spend 7/8 months working for, ruined

sadly, been here since start of jan, and it hunts me deeply i supported cb, and in ob,


before the patch i wasn't even godly, i could solo, i could do it all with alot of work, even higher level maps, today, :3 i cant even do the plain ol quest maps in act 3 merci.

don't tell me that aren't a sucker punch.

again :3 not to double post, my two friends, basically had the same thing happen to em, also quit duo to nerfs before patch 1.0 and massive nerfs after 1.0. don't blame them at all.

Then you're doing something very wrong, since my clvl 73 self-found character can solo the new Act 3 areas in merciless.

And I don't even consider myself to be particularly great at the game.

because everything i had my char build around is nerfed, and it doesn't work I'm not gonna pay for a reset, and i will not re level a new char to 80, to see if i can do another work around to see if the items are still useful.

i guess it sucks to not mainstream roll you're build. mah

i have to quote this, and that is kinda my point,

pre patch 1.0 and even pre the patch before that, where i was nerfed for the first time, i had a good amount of def and max resist, close to max chaos, and a good stacking 4k something life, if i remember right 4.5k (losing around 1.2k due to a few auras, and had 7.8k dps, yea ?. got nerfed once, lost around 30% of my dps, allright, it was down to 5k something, after patch 1.0 i had 1.9k dmg, cant use auras, cause the work around i had to do, made me lose life (close to 3k life) well 3k hp left. and def really also dropped alot. :3 its all wonderBra :3 lolies (Wonderbra)

guess why ! :3 because some Ci char had 49k ele dmg.
