OP Legacy Uniques are the worst decision i've seen from the devs thus far

and now, you have a nice legacy shield. Why should that be a problem for me? Why do i have to get such a shield, when its not really needed or the harder one when its able to break my poe expierience. There is no real competition in standard. The economy is already broken, long before the first legacy unique was introduced...

There will be rules for PvP events, you dont actually know if you can use your legacy uniques or how they will balance it...

The only reason a legacy unique can be a problem for someone, i can think of is that you want such a game breaking item your self and you couldnt get one before the nerf. Or you want to get rich in standard, and you have the fear thats someone will get more orbs because they can trade legacy uniques?

My BET 4 weeks from now, nobody will cry about legacy uniques....
The elements are my allies.
The dead are my servants.
And fear...will be my closest friend.

Wanna bet?

For rules I'm going for 'vale tudo'
For balancing I'm predicting 'in no particular way'

Let's make it symbolic, one chaos orb, not trying to get rich here.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I don't agree with the whole legacy thing. Should've been all or nothing. But the main thing is PvP. They cannot allow legacy uniques into pvp, otherwise it will cease to exist. No one will play it as unless you have the legacy uniques, you will be at a big disadvantage.

And this is speaking from me having:

IGN DanteAllighari - Standard
ArcTesla - Domination
DanteAlighari - Domination
RMT sites and single persons who sell for FG or for real money are sooo happy now. Getting atleast 5x what they invested. GG GGG xD
IGN = DeizeCoC, DeizeCi, DeizeNUTS

I was gonna whack a big chunk of money down tomor along with a few friends but we all agreed that if this legacy bullshit happens then no chance. Still gonna play obv but this decision is mind blowing.
Hardcore only, cause yolo :)

so i was wrong thinking that the devs had integrity with regards to game balance. i never thought for one moment that they would make high-end uniques legacy. i'm shocked really and i dunno what to say.

i'll be playing ladder but still very disappointed.
The RMT heaven.

Yup. Same thing happened when legacy items became existent as a result of the post 1.08 patch in D2:LoD. Everyone cried for a little while and eventually no one cared enough to talk about it anymore. There were still plenty of powerful items and builds that weren't overshadowed by the .08 items.

So everyone complaining about legacy items and how much "Scrubcore" sucks: You're free to play the 4-month leagues you were planning to partake in anyway, this has no affect on you.
I play self-found (currency, gem, items, all of it) and 95% solo. I'll stay in standard, I don't care about the economy and I'll never PvP.

I am happy with GGG decision on legacy items because I can choose to not use a divine on them.

Changing all items retroactively based on economy or PvP concerns would have pissed me off because I don't care about those aspect (I know it's selfish but it's how I feel).

They could disable legacy items from PvP and/or trading unless divined.

Maybe it would help, maybe not, but at least I'd still be happy.
