Is GGG now closely colaborating with ATI & Nvidia, for the Final release ? @Chris communicate <3

having optimized gfx driver profiles for your game just makes things more complicated. for example ggg would rely on every gamer updating to the latest driver version (with the poe profiles) to run the game properly.
but the normal gamer doesn't touch his driver config once it runs it's games properly. and he is right doing so as long as the graphics driver update is a process prone to fail and crash your system if you don't follow strict updating rules. currently poe is relying on the default configuration the driver sets up for new games and you can modify your graphics setting ingame within the limits ggg allows. fine by me. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

SLI/Xfire ? for PoE ? when with already one gfx card you have 100+ fps ?
What's the point to have more ? IGN TylordRampage

" i live in asia ..gotta say Path of exile has serious Network issues and performance wise i used 7950HD , 16gigs ram im suppose to run full settings 6 man party 60 fps right? no it doesnt im forced to play one client with lowest settings imaginable and my pc chokes like dog in docks or lunaris. that said however i use tp-link wifi adapter and i pay 100$ internet worth per month..what do i get? 20 fps on average and 300 pings every time the lowest pings i get is 180ish. the setup i have is even enuff to run batman arkham city full settings with 50ish fps . inb4 you need SSD or whatever |

" 4Gb RAM, Radeon 4670 here. Zero problems with the game's performance. Clean yor PC once in a while, lol... |

Some kind of partnership between GGG / Nvidia would be nice. Nvidia has a lot of advertising muscle, this would bring in a lot of new players to PoE (we can always use more :D). Imagine even that Nvidia would include free supporter packs with new graphics cards!
You'd probably get another wave of whiny children though complaining about Nvidia logos at the startup "HURR GGG SELLOUT" - yea, because working together with the market leaders in computer graphics is selling yourself out.. vaal or no balls Last edited by QueenTakesKnight#2764 on Oct 21, 2013, 11:45:25 AM

Radeon 7870, 8GB RAM, i5 750 not currently over-clocked unfortunately. Ice shot screws up my FPS, and maybe some other stuff I haven't noticed. Lag spikes and flatlines will also cause me to effectively lose frames. Newly put together, although the MB is kind of old. Runs all of the good graphics games I've tried at ultra or very high.
Also, I highly doubt that guy has to "clean his PC". He likely gets issues from connectivity, which will reflect in FPS. " forget to add little details i clean my pc once in a month and do every performance optimization and i never done this with any games other than POE . Did i also mention the game caused my computer to shut down by itself pretty often ..some 5 minutes ago while doing lunaris piety my computer shuts down by itself , checked the computer its warm.. should i use a supercomputer to play a directx9 graphics game? stop being a blind fanboy POE has performance problems not only for me but for some other people out there . the need to fix this sooner or later. on a side note however devs may want to add more performance patches for us guys here in asia and some other parts in the world before adding more shinnies. i dont care that much about desyncing since i pretty much play default. but a directx9 games shouldnt cause that much lag with that setup and further more it shouldnt cause my computer to shut down pretty often Last edited by useboy#6196 on Oct 21, 2013, 12:14:52 PM

" So, you're complaining of PoE using your system resources too efficiently and causing heat issues on your rig? I have a 7850, and a Phenom II X4 @ 3.3Ghz, and my computer doesn't shut off randomly, and I've played at 5040x900 Eyefinity even at highest settings. Reseat your GPU heatsink, or try a cooler environment... Also, what is "warm"? My GPU gets "warm" while playing PoE, but my "warm" is like 50-60C, basically like any other game I play. Just because your computer is setup in non-ideal conditions (do you have a heater next to your computer? Are you pushing like 1.5V or something to the GPU with a passive cooler?) doesn't mean the game is unoptimized... You want to see an unoptimized game? Go play Saints Row 2 or maybe even GTA IV. Edit: Not to mention, if it was the GPU overheating, the computer shouldn't shutoff; the monitor signal should just cut because the GPU should power down. I'm betting it's your processor, but you'll have to actually go figure this out on your own (check firmware settings for a thermal limit, and check some monitoring software for temps). As for Ice Shot, can someone arrange a party (some point this hour preferably) just so I can witness this?
