and thats what you have to realise is wrong, you just say "ok" then you let it keep going for hours without saying sorry no to low offer, and thats what i Point out proves to be seen as a type of harrasment when you keep giving the hopes to the player, when you dont even plan 2 sell it to him, and if you did this to me i would have reported it, thanks god im not using trading channel. :)

so giving people hope is considered harassment here? holy shit

it doesnt matter if its harassment or against the TOU, it matters because he is is willfully causing others discomfort because it brings him pleasure.

In the moba scene he would generally be labeled as a griefer to feeds kills to the opposing team so he can ruin the game for his own team.

Just a word of caution here:

sellers are free to set 'high' prices for their goods, likewise buyers are just as free to offer 'low' payment for the same item. Singling out one side or the other for peer harassment could constitute a breach of the terms of use.

If you don't like someones offer just say 'no thanks' and move on.

that doesn't make any sense what so ever.

sorry.

As others have pointed out, if you are advertising 'message me offers' expect to receive offers that are lower than what you have in mind, that's just business. Its the attempt to instigate the demonization of 'low ballers' that risks breaching the terms of use regarding harassment.

Don't play dumb. There is even a rule against trolling but GGG does not execute it to it's full potential for a reason. Everyone would be upset about their "oh my freedom of the speech". Freedom of expression does not equal the right to be a dick all the time. It is a luxury allowing constructive, critical discussion.

"No, thanks." Then put the individual on ignore if it annoys you so much.

GGG is just trying to steer the community toward a direction to where everyone is polite all the time, a land with no trolls, and people are cheerful and helpful - always.

The problem is this community wagon doesn't have power steering and its not easy to steer, and if it hits a rough stretch the steering wheel might go the other way. Just saying.

It would be nice if we could exceed the standards set by a kindergarten playground.

Freedom of expression also doesn't apply to privately owned forums.

sorry. i would not support a hitler run company if you truly pulled something like this and took action against a player like the OP.

I would.

OP is wasting peoples time in trade. Here is the issue, which people have been posting in this thread have told over & over: not everyone trades. Most poeple that don't live in trade chat flipping items have no idea what some items go for. Add to that, that the price of items is constantly in flux, and even different time zones / countries have slightly different prices.

So OP, who is known to be not-so-nice, it griefing people in trade. And this is good for the PoE how? (Simple solution OP: put a B/O on the item you are sellling ... oh wait, your intention is to troll people)

We have full-release 1.0.0 coming, meaning a likely influx of new players.

And how are these new players, who GGG hopes to retain, going to react when people like the OP troll them in trade chat? Probably will not have a positive effect on them.

Therefore, I'm all for GGG stance on this. OP is a [removed by admin], and he fully admits to it. Not sure how that is a good thing for the game.

And Godwins Law strikes again /facepalm
BLAMT!
