" There is no such thing as a low ball offer. If he doesnt have 100 ex he gotta offer what he can spend. I dont even have more than 1 ex so all i could ever offer would be a few alcs, chaos or chroms. |

Well If you really want an item and the guy ask you for an offer then you give an offer of how much you are willing to pay.
If he reject it, you move along, this takes 5 seconds. If he accept it you trade. As for noobs like you who lowball everytime you get asked "offer?" i just completely ignore them and move on. If you want a unique item like kaoms you should know the price already, offer something close to the value if you really spect a trade, otherwise you are iether an idiot who is wasting your and the other guy´s time or a scammer who is looking for someone who doesn´t know the price of the kaom. Why not just offer what you were really willing to pay, and stick to that number. If he wouldn't sell for it, move on. Sounds like you were trying to do the same thing, get it for lower than its actual value, where as he was trying to get more than its actual value. Somebody has gotta be the bigger person if you ever want to get a trade.

When did people start trading like that? When they stopped relying on their selling ability to make their livelihood. A storekeeper who put out items, didn't put price tags on them, and then laughed at his potential customers' offers would go broke and starve.
Alas, in POE, they just end up annoying a continuous stream of people and never sell their item. |
