Just don't deal with people like them. They are mad to see a lowball, but they expect some unreal price at the same time...

What i don't understand is if an offer is too low, you MUST have something to compare it to. You cannot logically say something is too low without a reference. So why not cut the shit and say what that reference is?

When? I'd say they started that sometime around 10 years ago in Diablo 2. Or maybe far sooner than that even.
Spoiler
For all we know, 6000 years ago, the following conversation probably took place somewhere:
A- how much for the cow B- offer A- (obvious lowball for a stupid response) 4 chickens B- no A- so then how much is the cow B- offer better |

Aye, people are waay too sentimental when it comes to the better items. They'll hold on to them for weeks and call everyone who makes a reasonable offer an idiot until they finally realize that it isn't actually worth more, at which point they either hold on to it until they find someone who is desperate enough to buy it at a higher price OR they behave like assholes to everyone interested in it because they think people are being "lowballers" just to piss them of. :3

Plenty of people don't have any idea how a barter system works sadly.

Exactly why I dont trade. GGG wanting the "economy" to be the most important is why this game is dying so quickly, People cant find shit, and trading is such a chore alot of people wont deal with it. So over all game feels very unrewarding. I am done with Arpg's until someone can put the fun back in them, I want to find my own shit and I dont want to have to be jobless and lifeless to do so.
