Creative Use of Slower Projectiles/Reduced Duration

Reduced duration:
-Explosive arrow -Lightning warp -Sunblast traps Slower projectiles: - Yeah sorry, no skills that benefit from slower projectiles yet. Ice spears second form is distance based, not time based and considering reduced duration has no secondary benefit you can assume slower projectiles wouldn't either. Though that is also just an assumption. So unless it does have a secondary beneit, or they add piety's lightning ball spell sometime soon, or some kind of weird unique to mess with values, slower projectiles is actually useless. Lightning trap + reduced duration + unique belt. Sounds like instant time-out, hope that trap will be also boosted a bit. I'm also wondering what the bonus will be. More like -20% duration or -60% duration. I'm really looking forward to use it with explosive arrow.

"EA doesnt detonate unless it has hit a target/the wall. I think people once tried to use frost wall to detonate it, but sadly it didnt work since the frost wall just absorbed the arrows (but it would be AWESOME if that actually worked) |

" How can you forget spectral throw? At least in the video showcasing the spectral throw build the devs said you want to space yourself to have the turning point of the throw inside of the monster so that damage is maximised. Makes me assume spectral throw deals damage in certain intervals while it is touching a mob --> benefits from slower projectiles |

Anyway right now we don't know if spectral throw can only hit an enemy once per change of direction or if there is a some sort of tick that allows the same enemy to be hit multiple times with the same weapon so long as the projectile is slow enough to stay inside them long enough. Or if the projectile speed can be brought low enough for stacks of spectrals to persist long enough for squidding to keep pressure on enemies without having to leapfrog too much to actually hit the enemies. Even then, it's up to discussion whether it's worth the link slot if your build isn't built entirely around spectral rotations. Not like it needs to be good enough without, but so far that build is the only one that RD seems good for. " Why? They'll still hit your enemy at the same rate.
