I did find an elemental hit gem in the docks later on though, so that was lucky, not used it yet though.

Permanent allocation and gems aren't rare drops. It also happened on a chain gem that droppd and everyone was like 'lolnub why would you care about that crappy gem?'.

BECAUSE ITS DROP ONLY AND I DONT HAVE ONE YET AND DONT WANT TO WASTE GCP BUYING THEM WHEN THERES ONE SAT HERE ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF ME BOUND TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT DOESNT WANT IT AND WONT EVEN PICK IT UP ....

God permanent allocation is soooo fucking bad.

so....they made drops permanent. Awesome. I was wondering if they would do that. There used to be a like....500 page thread about it. Gods....I missed the fallout after that change. That would have been one hell of a ride.

Oh, I dont worry to much about it. I usually solo as a summoner anyway. I'm just awesome like that. I'm just glad they finally made a decision on the subject. Hope they stick to it.

Yes its permanent and optional. You can choose free for all, short allocation, permanent allocation.

It you mostly solo then it wont be an issue to you.

Just remember where on the map the item dropped, and when everyone else leaves the instance, items allocated to them will become free for all so you can go pick it up.

I consider all drop-only gems to be the rarest of gems, compared to, say, the ones the game throws at you.

Certainly rarer than what it used to be.

Either way, amusing that the thread has reached two pages and my response remains the best one. That's very, very rare.

See? a huge post about how a smart and mana efficient way to use auto attack on any build....but it start out with this...makes no sense, but damnit it if it aint the smartest thing in this thread.

Being able to 'support' auto attack with skills is a fundamentally flawed concept.

You see, you start out with an auto attack & then you essentially want to support it with skills, which no longer would make it an auto attack because you made modifications to the skill.

Thats why when you run out of mana, you do an auto attack that isnt supported by your support gems.

If the thread was only created because you guys are concerned about mana cost (I dont think that this is why the thread was posted, but I could be wrong) then you are going to love the soul taker axe. (You can basically ignore mana costs for melee attacks with it)
