I really dont want a wipe. For me these things are not currency, its use-able items, all of it! A wipe would wipe my hard work, not my shop. If GGG do wipe something, I will have to accept it, I would hope its not severe enough to stop me playing but then, I have patience. Iv found many in the world do not :(

I think I read that the drop rates for items and orbs etc, are affected by how much is currently circulating amongst the players i.e. too many EX's on the dance floor would result in a lower drop rate of EX's. BUT... I would only trust this if you can find a GGG post saying so, of course :)

Im not sure how they would make trading fun for all, I agree that the problem is insurmountable, in my head at least.

My fave time trading in any game was in Spiral Knights because there was both an Auction house and a Communal feel i.e. able to buy off players directly and see the persons toon etc
I still think the trading in PoE is rather good anyway, since you have a live auction house, trade chat, and you can trade direct. Its not quite the same for some reason but its better than the RMA auction house of that-which-cannot-be-named or many many other games too.

Anyone know if there are trade related changes on release? Even better would be for GGG to pop in and feed us a nugget (sorry, I would search but Im busy stocking my pipe and making tunes, no time to go gallivanting around the PoE forums to find out)
