I would like to see something like rings, belts, and amys get sockets that apply to all of your skills maybe as a unique item or an implicit mod.

downside = aura's have 50% reduced effect. That seems a fair enuf downside for 8 sockets? Not sure if this will ever happen do, server is gonna stress on all that goodie. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

A unique terror maul with 8 white links.
Deals 1-3 fire damage per level of strength gems inside. Deals 1-2 cold damage per level of intelligence gems inside. Deals 0-4 lightning damager per level of dexterity gems inside. GGG maintains the linking difficulty progression formula and it takes a year and 250,000 fusings before anyone ever gets a seven link. Three years and maybe someone has an eight link, but the good news is they can't mirror it. Make it a chest armor with +20% run speed, 300 to each armor, evasion and energy shield and one random good resist (30-40% of one element or chaos). It would basically end up being a level 60ish roll your own tabula rasa.
