I suppose it might always be possible for someone to design a unique like that. I'd hate to see what kind of downside they'd put on it though :)

And how do you offset a 700% increase to your skill's mana requirement? And if you say soultaker, then you should slap yourself--not everyone uses that, and there are a lot better weapons out there.

Maybe a 2H unique weapon with 2 linked sockets, which automatically "link" to the top left gem slot on your equipped chest item?

we need more uniques like bringer of rain or thunderfist etc with "Gems in this item are supported by level xxx xxx" stats - a 7/8 link wouldnt be able to balance since a attack/spell with 7 support gems would be unbelivable up
but with for example a chest that alwaays has "Gems in this item are supported by level 20 Arc" and "Gems in this item are supported by level 20 cast spell on melee kill" it would be way easier to balance ign: ALLRAUDER Last edited by Luuu90#5383 on Oct 6, 2013, 10:18:44 AM
