it seems that you are the first one to read my post in its entirety..

1. Simply because YOU don't get to test it, doesn't mean it isn't tested.
2. Of course they are trying to grab a new audience, they are always trying to do that, they are running a fucking company.
3. The Beta tag was in place until all three acts were finished (which GGG said would be the case back when we only had 1.5 acts) - they didn't abuse anything, you had to give them money of your own free will.

Sid, I agree with you, but you should know by now there is no point in posting on these forums unless you are going to praise the game. All that is left here seems to be immature fanboy children, I said months ago there is no point in any beta feedback at this point. Its a lost cause, let these fanboys ride the game right into the dirt.

The only reason its popular in the first place is because d3 brought back the love for ARPGS, d3 disappointed alot of people and they came here. The blind rage hate for d3 here shared by almost every singe fanboy is a tell tale.


I personally find this to be one of the worst communities I have been apart of, and I post on alot of game forums that I am playing, if I spend alot of time with the game.

Ice, the community is just sick of you bashing GGG/PoE in every single post you make. People - shockingly - who post on these boards typically like the game that the boards are devoted to. Go to a sports team forum, dedicated to a particular team, and tell them all how much that team sucks, and see what kind of reactions you get. Expecting not to be attacked is just idiotic.

Now, you can certainly say your peace about PoE, I have serious issues with it myself (I think the crafting system is a joke, I think ID scrolls are pointless, I think there is far to much emphasis on trading) But when I make posts about those things I do not expect to get a lot of positive feedback from the playerbase. I expect GGG to read it, and consider it, nothing more nothing less. I am not here to convert people to my opinion.

It's possible that the OP hasn't really experienced this before in PoE (as per his account he joined during OB).

We had the same thing happen (numerous times) in CB, and it can be expected again. Most likely during one of the major patches, which appear to be scheduled for every 4 mths give or take.

It's more like the OP, is new to Open Betas in video games in general.

Personally I'd leave if I were so widely regarded as a toxic element *and* I hated the game as much as some people seem to do, but I think that's just me projecting rationality onto the vehemently irrational.
