Gravicius is too much
BLIMP
Fought him this morning - apparently you havent hotfixed this for me as I asked last night, Mr Wilson - pls get to it asap, or I will quit the game and never come back. You will lose a potential customer that buys 10 dollars of MT's a year. Thats serious money. I'm telling you all, I will really quit for good if you ignore my request for nerfs! I will keep making topics about how much this free game sucks and how many times I am going to quit! That will show you! HAH Last edited by mvm199#0755 on Sep 28, 2013, 5:40:20 AM

" Stop behaving like a spoilt brat who throws his toys and bursts out crying when things go bad. I play this game since closed beta and I have never ever had a problem to kill that boss. Sometimes he was harder, sometimes easier (depending on build) but he never had a chance to kill my character even once. So that, from my experience, he should be made harder, if anything. You either lack skill or knowledge how to prepare your character to progress in the game. Edit: sorry, I didn't intend to be too tough on you but I read more and more posts where someone demands nerfing anything too hard to finish. Btw, did you try to use Decoy totem? " If you are so high leveled that you can't gain another level in docks and u are a cyclone facebreaker build than either everything about your build is wrong or you use the worst equip I can even imagine. In fact you should be able to oneshot him! "Yes, it is perfectly fair. It just sucks ass."

I think Gravicius is mostly okay. He may be more problematic for some builds, but for any that I've played he has been manageable, albeit quite a challenge. He does hit like a truck, and has a huge ES pool. The combination encourages skillful playing over button mash face tanking (as opposed to Oak, his polar opposite in this regard, who is purely a skill-less, life flask and gear check). You have to kite hard to avoid his attacks while you regen, but not for too long or his ES will regenerate. He is, in my opinion, the most well designed boss fight in the game.
The only balancing I would suggest, is to nerf his ESCDR slightly. No more than by half a second, only enough to allow for a slightly greater margin of error before his massive ES pool starts to regen. As is, he offers so little room for error that one misstep may cost you a second too much, and you effectively have to start the fight all over again. This is good, but a little overtuned at the moment. You do have certain tools at your disposal to stall his ES regen, like Fire Trap, but even those aren't going to shut him down completely--he moves a lot, and follows you as he forces you to move a lot, requiring frequent trap replacement. Puncture / Viperstrike + Duration are also a godsend, albeit riskier than fire trap (excepting ranged punctures, the safest way to deny his ES regen while kiting). Devolving Wilds

" o m g lol ... please tell me you're joking and did in fact realise my obvious satire of kids that make a 1000 topics about how games dead and they are quitting, yet theyre still on the forums 24/7. I mean 10 dollars a year should have tipped you off. |
