It doesn't have to be too dependent on Thesauruses.
1)Hard, 2)Cruel, 3)Ruthless, 4)IMPOSSIBLE. Classic, fits with the current naming scheme(as per OP), descriptive, translates well out of English. :D |

May be something that describes the one way path that the character will take on this last difficulty level amm...something along the lines Carnage/Massacre or
----------------------------------------------------------- May be not necessary an adjective I think Limbo would be a nice one in my opinion (@^.^@)

Dunno if its been mentioned but for one:
1) I like the idea of a themed naming scheme. 2) I like referring to NOT how difficult the game is, but how powerful my own character has become. In this sense I would use something like... 1st Difficulty = Suicide (Only able to kill yourself haha) 2nd Difficulty = Homicide (Able to kill other things) 3rd Difficulty = Omnicide (Able to kill Everything) ...and for the 4th... ..one of my fav words.. 4th Difficulty = Deicide (Able to kill a GOD) This naming scheme would definately stand out among all the other rubbish out there. P.S.- I want a beta key for this amazing looking game. |

Hard is the STANDARD difficulty? Heh.
Well, we probably need a name even nastier than Ruthless, going by this scheme. And it should probably be an adjective to fit in with the others. It doesn't have to, though. A lot of companies go with things referring to the underworld in such cases, like Hellish, Diabolical, or Nightmarish. I think we should go with something that fits in with the name of the game though, like "Abandoned", or "Excluded" or even something cliche like "Forbidden". Someone could probably think of some better thing that goes with being exiled, but it's a start. |
