Allow Disabling of Ally Auras

I think all auras should only affect the caster. This will eliminate the perceived imbalance between party and solo play

So much wrong in such little space. They're not really auras if they only effect you; it's naive to believe you can eliminate imbalance with a single, simple change; no one should care about perceived imbalance, only about real imbalance; party play becomes boring if there's no way for players to use teamwork, so aura-sharing is should be one of the last party benefits to get the ax.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
I like ScrotieMcB's suggestion. Zero-aura play doesn't really have anything going for it at the moment (except BM keystone I suppose, but BM builds are not especially powerful at the moment). At the moment, it seems like running Clarity or Grace is a kind of baseline for almost any non-BM build.
Perhaps an aura that nullifies [friend and foe] auras that originate within its radius.

Stopgap solution is to join party, enter the area together, leave party, clear the area, repeat. No idea if this affects the group iir bonus; it didnt back in group fellshrine runs during cb, but plenty could have changed under the hood since then.

Oh and a +1 to Scroties keystone concept.

sorry to necro this.

but this problem still direly needs a fix.

same goes for mana management.. on my mf.
my prepatch perf. 15ex divination flask is just useless 80% of the time because of allies clarity aura.

impossible to handle clarity/mana. sometimes its not there.. then most of the time its there.
cant even keep your divination up for a few seconds.. even if i disable one of my own auras to briefly free up reserved mana.

this is just annoying. people should be able to decide themselves what auras they want: especially when auras have such a large effect on builds and playstyle.

please GGG. put this request into your incident management:
gameplay-wise it is a critical/major incident.

thank you.

Then i suggest to talk to the party member providing the aura instead of begging for a nerf to auras because auras are there to help out and if you dont want benefits from them tell the person who casts it.

This is a lack of party play not a lack of options given.

Learn to read before posting nonsense into this thread. It's not a nerf if it literally affects no one else but yourself. In fact it's a buff because given the choice, you'll always be strictly better off having the option to remove an aura that negatively impacts you.

I'm not sure I get this thread.
I've seen there's an issue with Clarity that regenerates your mana too fast to correctly use the Divination Distillate correctly. Isn't that an issue that comes from the potions rather than the auras? If potion buffs only got a timer depending on potion duration rather than actual mana/life being regenerated, wouldn't this part of the issue be solved?

What are the other issues?
