Are Tentacle Miscreations still just way, way too strong?
" Sure, PM me when you've found a good pack of titty bitches in a lvl 77 vuln map, and sent me an invite. By the way, this char was only 64 at the time, and geared with crap except for the weapon and shield, everything else was still facebreaker leveling gear. " I took a break from that build, so it will be a long time before I touch a lvl 77 map again. I currently rolling another character just to have a fresh outlook with another build. Hopefully, you can get yourself in that situation one of these days. :D Even with lvling gear, as long you got a decent amount of AR/ES, have Aegis Aurora equipped, and a have decent amount of block chance, your ES will regenerate quickly as long you proc block. In fact you have more ES regen than life regen when you block. lol Ranged Miscreations are the only mobs out there can proc you block very easily. I even get Endurance charges from them because I have BoR equipped, and you know how hard it is to get EC from BoR through blocking. Edit: Now I understand why Aegis Aurora is OP to an extent. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze#6516 on Sep 21, 2013, 11:19:32 PM

Hi
People should also keep in mind that when they start firing:MOVE, its all in the timing) cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.
Never dance with the Devil because a dance with the Devil could last you forever... -I thought what I'd do was,I'd Pretend I was one of those deaf mutes- Nullus Anxietas:) |

My personal strategy for dealing with them is to cast a totem off to the side, so they start firing at the totem. You then have a couple seconds to go in there and whip some titties.
A comprehensive, easy on the eyes loot filter:

To OP: do you like to facetank Vaal's lighning attack sa well? The fight isn't just about swinging a big stick, it's about some footwork, too, you know. And the tentas are extremely vulnerable to side-stepping.

I had quite a big problem with them with my CI templar, if I didn't use chayula I would die, since they would just stun lock me to death. With chayula its a whole different thing, I don't even have to move since I can shoot fireballs at them without being interrupted and regen the ES via life leech gem (Ghost reaver + Vaal pact).
6k es, 75% to all res (practically no armor/eva) Since wearing chayula for caster is quite retarded, i decided to waste 10 points (I needed str anyway for support gems and I find I do not need more than 6k es or more dps) and got unviewering stance, since then I didn't die to them. In fact Vaal Pact + Ghost reaver + unviewering stance + molten shell linked to life leech + life leech on fireball makes me die very very seldom to anything and only when I don't pay attention. items shop: 364086 ign: [ICU]missuse if you like to HLD, add me inactive in game atm, PM me if you need something. Grace + Ondar's Guile + Arctic Armour = /thread

" "gais just use a passive that is probably in bumfuck nowhere because odds are large you're ES, and grab a skill that murders your Mana pool unless you have EB". Hardly a useful answer. Sidestepping, on the other hand, is something anyone can do and also neuters them. |

Try sidestep in tunnel or underground river maps, where there's corridors so tight you can hardly get down them yourself. I have a dual totem flame totem guy that runs 7k evasion using grace and ondars, and I afk in front of titty bitches. No Armour at all. 0. My character sheet doesn't even have a Physical Damage Reduction section. Ondar's Guile is 6 points from the Void Bringer wheel in shadow tree, more points are used to get IR and Unwavering (common for CI and dual totem guys to take these, no idea why..), both of which are completely useless and unnecessary. Arctic Armour at lvl 7 (what I use) takes like 80 mana regen to sustain while running.... you just need a lvl 17 Clarity and 1000 ish mana and you will be able to sustain. So yeah, know what you're talking about before you try and palm off someone with an actual solution.
