Are Tentacle Miscreations still just way, way too strong?
Granite Flask of Warding + a decent level of AA (7 is not decent for A3 merciless - try ~14) and you can pretty much ignore them.
My crappy witch can tank Lunaris miscreations until they're dead with 3k es, level 16 AA, ~6k armor after the Granite Flask of Warding, and 80% fire res. They can't chain stun through even such meager defenses, and if I actually do feel threatened I can easily Lightning Warp out of the way. |

my ondar's guile ranger was able to facetank 20 of those without losing more than 5% HP.
I had 78% resists, 51% chance to evade, and ondar's guile along with 2.3k HP and 979 or so armor. Ive since respecced though, so I can't give much more information. TL;DR: Ondar's Guile is imba vs em. Anvil and max block is imba vs them. Stop trying to faceroll PoE, its not meant to be faceroll. My Shop: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1338089

get decent hp/es & unwavering stance/chayula vs them and you will laugh at them. and yeh ofc u need a flask to remove curses. vunerability really fucks u up if ur running low armor.

They are not way too strong, you just dont have enough dodge/evasion. My 79 hc ranger virtually never gets hit by them.
The issue is that most people feel as though evasion and dodge are not worthwhile skills and therefore max out on armor, which makes you a sitting duck against said enemies. |

If you had even 20% chance to evade and took Ondar's guile you would only get hit with 6 in 10 shots.

" That is only if you focus purely on armor, but if you add in at least five endurance charges, a ton of life regen (probably 300+ ), and life leech, those hits along with being vulnerability would not make a difference, it would all be pebbles hit. If you still feel insecure, slap enfeeble, so you cancel out Vulnerability. Ranged Miscreations are probably the craziest projectile mobs in the entire game with how fast those projectiles can go. Add in allies attack faster aura, and those projectiles can break the sound barrier. You usually have to watch out for them when you get cursed with Vulnerability, because those are the ones that can mostly likely take you down. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze#6516 on Sep 21, 2013, 7:27:08 PM

They tickle http://www.twitch.tv/faiiname/b/464034171
really if you can't handle them you should rework your build/gear |

" Oh cmon, you posted a video with only couple normal ranged miscreations attacking you in a nice manner. A good amount of builds can do that. You should really test it out when you are under vulnerability curse, while they have fires additional projectiles, and happen to be near a rare mob that has allies attack faster aura. That is where most builds tend to go derp on you just because of unforeseen combination. I wonder if that is enough to test out Aegis Aurora's limit. I really do not have any issue with then with my one of my builds, they can make me sweat a bit, but it would take them a while to take me down.....if I allow it. They are the only mobs that can pretty much proc my block chance easily, so I do block most of their attacks. Edit: Changed the first sentence. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze#6516 on Sep 21, 2013, 11:00:37 PM
