Maybe for some rare items, but the price is going up on a lot of the GG unique items. Things like Soul Takers have skyrocketed in price. A few months ago they were 15-18ex, now they're selling for as much as 35ex?

Btw, flipping is what enables me to build any character in the game with whatever gear I want. I can farm on them for fun whenever I want but I'd never make much profit. I could find a kaoms heart and sell it for 35 exalts and I'd only have made two days worth of profit. I just spent 60 exalted crafting to break even. I'd consider being able to have anything you want in the game and do anything you want to be pretty fun myself.

If you enjoy it, more power to you. I'd rather do literally anything else than spam trade chat. I can do work... at work.

In my experience it's the exact opposite, especially on Standard.

GG rare items hold enormous premiums, sometimes over 100 exalts.

Unique items just slowly drop in value as the economy fills up with them as they drop often, don't have to be crafted, and are mostly identical.

Also, "a few months ago" exalts were more valuable, so it's hard to compare exalts of months ago to exalts of today, especially since people aren't using them a lot.

Eternals have really cut deep into the value of exalts, since to craft people no longer have to "yolo-exalt" and hope for the best, people are primarily using exalts 1:1 with Eternals, causing exalts to inflate, and items to be worth "more exalts"

But it's not that they are actually worth more, it's that exalts are worth less. lol.

In the last 2 - 3 weeks in Hardcore, exalts have dropped from 30 chaos per 1 exalt to 22:1....And people are conjecturing they will drop even further, and this is just the last few weeks!

Don't worry about that. What you don't realize is it's actually much easier to flip in a parent league than a child league because there's more demand for all the GG gear I'll be selling. When the new onslaught league comes out I intend to become the top trader there and play on the new anarchy league. I'll just trade 1:2 for ex or kill a lvl 1 character if I need some to buy something.
