Flipping is amazingly profitable in POE

The slow and painful nature of trading creates a large price discrepancy between sell and buy values because of ordinary players' desire to trade for what they want quickly.

It also involves no RNG like crafting.

It dosen't even involve scamming noobs



Example: Sporker finds a Lioneye's he cant use. He just wants to sell it off quickly so he can get better MF gear. Flipper buys it for 4.5 exalts due to mr sporkers impatience. Mr Flip then hangs around trade chat until he comes across someone who's behind the times and thinks lightning arrows are still broken OP, and sells it to him for 5.5 exalts and Mr Slowpoke even thanks him for the quick trade.
Mr Flip just made 1 exalt without A SINGLE MINUTE SPENT FARMING.


Now lets pretend Mr Flip is doing the same with Shavronnes. He buys them for 33 and sells it 36. Thats 3 exalts for reading comprehension skills and patience.

I'm confused. You seem to think that spending all day spamming trade chat is somehow better than spending the day grinding (which also gets you something called xp which can be useful :P).

And just for the record, the guy you refer to as "Mr Slowpoke" is laughing his tits off at you. You think you got one over on him by making an exalt for a few hours of chatspam, while he spent the past few hours just playing the game and enjoying it for what it is, while letting you do all the boring stuff for an insignificant amount of cost to him.

If you spend all your time in trade Chat, you get rich must faster then playing (farming) the game. You can get all equiptment for a high Level Player without playing the game.

You just need some orbs to start your trade Action (and trade skills^^)!
