Kongor's Undying Rage...useful?

So I found this just a few moments ago and don't know what to make of it. It looks freakishly awesome. I got a bad damage roll, but even if I got good roll would this be worth anything? I just don't see how people could use it, there's almost no point in building critical chance.

Thoughts on the item and what I should do with it?

What does onslaught actually do..?

Kongor's is one of the highest-DPS maces in the game, onslaught is a massive boon, and it allows you to actually do things like cold crit.

I think it will become the Lioneye´s of mace users. The Onslaught part is definitely nice, but it is not such a big advantage that you would want to build around it. What someone with this mace would do is to use a high IAS so he attacks often enough to trigger onslaught.

Interesting, maybe it's more desirable a weapon than I previously thought. Still, figuring out an effective crit build with this mace isn't straightforward. I just don't understand why GGG didn't add an increased crit mod so that it's base crit was higher.
