D3 was quite fun to play. I dont know why some people need a game to be "take over my life for 3 years" or it sux? I enjoyed a good 100+ hours in the game, that's more than Ive spent in MANY other games Ive bought. So yeah, I got value for my money.

It wasnt D2, but it wasnt bad either (as a solo player experience). Who knows, perhaps D3x will be fun?

D3 vanilla sucked. I swore to myself to never give blizzard money again.

It seems I was wrong. The D3 expansion sounds pretty good right now.

- AH problem fixed with "smart" loot, account bound items (probably after enchanting them), many more legendary drops

- endgame fixed with loot runs (aka PoE maps), random events, new paragon system.

- HAMMERDINS are back baby!

- reworked acts 1-4 (we will see how that turns out of course)

- new act, skills and all that jazz

If they add PvP, lessen the emphasis on questing, and add private chat rooms they will win me over for good.

Of course if GGG fix desync and add some more interesting skills, the choice between the two will be difficult.

Competition is good, it results in better games.
