Not like PoE had maps and random bosses first. 1st Torchlight had maps and endless dungeons in 2009.

Because ... Map System is a genuine idea from PoE right? Get a clue .. maps were a stolen idea from TorchLight.

The passive grid is a stolen idea from Final Fantasy 10 (SPhere Grid).

The ability gem system is a stolen idea from Final Fantasy 7 (Materia System).

Many stuff from PoE are stolen from Diablo 2 ...


Before throwing a rock at Blizzard first look at where GGG was "inspired" to create their systems.

Get a clue.

Diablo III has an undeniable amount of graphical polish and combat smoothness that POE may never achieve. It also appeals to a larger market than POE.

That being said, I like PoE better, but Diablo III was pretty enjoyable for a while too.

BUT. There is one thing that POE can incorporate. Less loot. Less. Fucking. Loot. "Smart loot" part is shit, but reduction of loot qantity is great. Don't you hate situation then loot is all over a screen and you can't see a mobs?

Man activision|blizzard is doing the same thing to D3 that they do in WoW, expansion will increase level cap to 70, ilvl70 gear has 2x the stat value of ilvl60 gear, so everyones gear is obsolete as soon as xpac is released (time to GRIND SOME MORE). Next expansion is gonna increase level cap to 80, ilvl80 gear will have higher stat values than ilvl70 gear, making all ilvl70 gear obsolete (time to GRIND SOME MORE) and it just goes on and on and on..

This children.. Is called 'franchise milking'. Next session; How to wait 3 weeks before buying the game so you have enough time to gather more information first, so you can make a wiser decision, instead of throwing money at the screen because the "cinematic was so epix!!"

meh most probably the ones who say that never played d2 or any other game.. there is nothing like "stealing" ideas in the world where we live. People recognize whats good to and they just do it . Anyway i see this more like a sign of weakness than something good.What are they doing new really? They are just utilizing ideas from other Arpgs in the hope they can make money with their junk game again, its all about money just think about it.They took the easy way , they are doing nothing new or special really. THis time it wont be like when D3 came out , smart people wont mindlessly trust to Blizzard again wasting their money on a product they know nothing about . They better do it right or this time they will get burned a lot .
